Proposal writing and preliminary research in personal time. Exploring practice orientated approaches to design for sustainability through environmental intelligence using design, science and technology in circular futures.

The human epoch has undoubtedly brought our planet to a tipping point. The question is: will we see this juncture as a time to turn things around, or will we drive ourselves over the edge? (Atmos) Planetary systems are under threat. Products and activities contribute to the destruction of these systems. They also contribute to the increasing disconnection between humans and Earth. Environmental Intelligence (EI) is the integration of environmental and sustainability research with data science, artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies.

Preliminary Research Subjects
The Anthropocene Epoch
Indigenous and Nomadic Cultures
Coexistence
Material Futures - Atlas of Materials from Waste, Kelp, Algae & Bio Materials
Reconnection to Nature
Biophilic Design - Biophilia asserts that humans intrinsically need nature in order to thrive. Sustainability aims to minimize resource consumption so that we are able to find balance within our ecological systems, and ensure the longevity of resources for future use.
